How our journalism is made
Accuracy first
Reporters should verify names, dates, locations, documents, images and material claims before publication. Urgency does not excuse avoidable inaccuracy.
Authorised newsroom publishing
Only authorised TSK Live editors and newsroom staff may publish or edit news articles. Material sent by readers may be treated as a tip for independent verification, never as a directly published user post.
Sources and fairness
We seek first-hand, documentary and on-record evidence wherever possible. People and organisations facing significant criticism should receive a fair opportunity to respond.
Attribution and anonymity
Information from other publications is attributed. Anonymous sources are used only when the public interest outweighs the loss of transparency and the newsroom knows the source’s identity.
Conflicts and gifts
Editors and reporters should disclose material conflicts of interest. Gifts, payments or favours must not influence coverage.
Images, AI and manipulation
Images must not be altered in a way that misleads. Illustrations, reconstructions, synthetic media and substantially AI-generated material should be clearly labelled.
Children and vulnerable people
We use additional care when identifying children, victims, grieving families and people at risk. Public interest, dignity and foreseeable harm guide publication decisions.
